COST-EFFECTIVE DISPUTE AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Mediation provides the chance that everyday people will resolve conflict and move on with minimal financial and emotional pain. Dispute Mediations is based in Brisbane and available for mediation services covering commercial, business, family, relationships, workplace, organisations, neighbour and community disputes.
PHONE CONFERENCE mediations are only a last resort if IN-PERSON or ONLINE VIDEO (e.g. ZOOM) mediation formats are not possible. A mediation can be conducted as a single mediation (one mediator) or a co-mediation session (two mediators).
The standard mediation session takes 3-4 hours (half a day). Most mediations are solved within this time frame and with one mediator. However, for longer mediations, a session can be extended if required. Our mediators can travel to any location in Australia and to on-site locations related to the dispute if required.

THIS IS WHERE YOU START!
INTAKE - INFORMATION GATHERING CALL
Each party will participate separately in the intake interview session for a mediation session to take place. This is where information is gathered about each person and the issues that need resolving as well as explaining and answering any questions about the mediation.
Intake Option 1
45 min - 1 hour interview session by phone with each party separately on a day prior to the day of the mediation session.
Cost:
$200 per party (plus GST)
Intake Option 2*
45 min - 1 hour interview session with each party separately on the day of mediation session at the mediation venue. (I.e. conducted prior to the mediation session
Cost: Intake is included in total cost (forms part of the 4-hour session)
* NOTE* Intake Option 2 may not be suitable for some mediations due to it cutting into the session time and or causing the session to be extended at additional cost. Usually Intake Option 1 is the most practical.
